Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Douglas Michael Sennett who was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on June 17, 1987, first born son of Dan and Sandy (Stare) Sennett.  He passed away at the much to early age of 19 on March 04, 2007.  He was driving to Monroe, WI to meet up with his special girlfriend, Kim.  He had her Grand Am and tragically hit a patch of black ice which propelled him into the oncoming lane of traffic.  He was killed instantly.  We will remember him forever.

Doug joined this world early morning June 17, 1987.  It was 3:19 am and he was born with a full head of hair.  He was a beautiful baby and at his young newborn age, was already sensitive to the worlds confusion and chaos.  He loved being patted to sleep and literally loved all the people around him.
As he got older he loved carrying his purple bag full of trucks.  Everywhere he went he took his bag and this made him happy.  He liked the teenage mutant ninja turtles and his favorite movie was The Mighty Ducks.  He loved movies that made a difference.   From early on he wanted to make a difference.
From as early as I can remember he loved the army.  He always dressed up as a army guy for Halloween.

His legacy
Doug's Legacy
Doug left a legacy of what it means to be kind. What it means to stick up for your fellow man. As a little boy he was probably more the bullied than the bully, but as he grew up he became more of what people might call a hero. He wanted to do right by people. He was always willing to help someone out. He was so proud to serve his Country and had volunteered to go to Iraq with a unit other than his own since his wasn't going to be deployed again soon. He wanted to make sure people were safe. Christmas time brought pleasure to him but he always waited for his brothers to get up in the morning before he would even look to see what Santa had brought. Such a consideration for a young child/man. Considerate, kind, honorable, honest, sincere, caring......an old soul and wonderful son.
